Mechi Eye Hospital Successfully Completes Two Surgical Eye Camps

Mechi Eye Hospital is delighted to announce the successful completion of two free surgical eye camps, aimed at enhancing the quality of life for people in hilly and rural areas. The first camp was held in Fungling, Taplejung, from 2081 Kartik 26 to Kartik 28, where a total of 767 patients were examined, and 76 cataract and other surgeries were successfully performed. This camp was organized by Nepal Netra Jyoti Sangh Taplejung and Sewa Foundation, Kathmandu, with technical support from Mechi Eye Hospital. The second camp took place in Tharpu, Panchthar, from 2081 Kartik 30 to Mangsir 1, where 550 patients were examined, and 46 surgeries were carried out. Organized by Nepal Netra Jyoti Sangh Taplejung and Sewa Foundation, Kathmandu, the camp also received financial support from Yangwarak Rural Municipality, Panchthar, and technical assistance from Mechi Eye Hospital.
