Squint and Oculoplasty Services

We are proud to offer comprehensive Squint Correction and Oculoplasty services, providing advanced care for a variety of eye and eyelid conditions. Our expert team is equipped to handle a wide range of surgical and non-surgical procedures, ensuring the best outcomes for our patients.

Services Available:

  • The Squint service handles surgical correction of misaligned eyes (strabismus).

    The Oculoplasty service covers a broad range of eyelid, tear-duct, orbital, and reconstructive eye procedures, which can be grouped as follows:

    Eyelid position correction – Surgical treatment for eyelids that turn outward (ectropion) or inward (entropion), each offered at minor, intermediate, and major levels of complexity, along with the Quickert technique for entropion.

    Tear duct (lacrimal) surgeries – Procedures to treat blocked or damaged tear drainage systems, including standard DCR (dacryocystorhinostomy), DCR with silastic tube placement, endoscopic DCR, conjunctivodacryocystorhinostomy, DCT for one or both eyes, and canalicular laceration repair.

    Growth, cyst, and mass removal – Excision of cysts, dermoid cysts, conjunctival cysts, and other masses around the eye, each available in minor, intermediate, or major categories, plus biopsy procedures for suspicious growths (including OSSN) and mass excision combined with an ear-cartilage graft.

    Eyelid and tissue reconstruction – Repair of torn or damaged eyelids at varying severity levels, including options using an Aurostent or Mini Monoka stent, along with fornix reconstruction, skin grafting, and general eyelid reconstruction.

    Eye removal procedures – Enucleation and evisceration (with or without ball implant and conformer), exenteration, and conformer fitting for patients who require removal of the eye due to disease or trauma.

    Orbital and structural repair – Correction of orbital fractures, with or without silicone or titanium mesh support, plus orbitotomy procedures and iris repositioning.

    Cosmetic and functional adjustments – Blepharoplasty (eyelid reshaping), ptosis (drooping eyelid) surgery, brow lift, canthoplasty (inner or outer corner adjustment), and epiblepharon correction.

    Minor in-office procedures – Chalazion incision and curettage, punctoplasty (including the 3-snip technique), tarsorrhaphy (with or without an amniotic membrane graft), symblepharon release, electric epilation, cyclocryotherapy, and incision-and-drainage procedures.

    Injections and specialized treatments – Botox injections (with per-unit pricing beyond the minimum dose), intravitreal Eylea injections, intrastromal Voriconazole injections, and intravitreal injections with Tricort performed in a minor OT setting.
