Kamal Rural Municipality, Topgachi, Jhapa, in joint collaboration with Mechi Eye Hospital, Birtamod, has officially launched daily eye health OPD services at Kamal Nagar Hospital. Starting Tuesday, Jestha 5, 2083, this new service is expected to provide the local community with easy access to quality and specialized eye care close to home.
The inauguration was marked by a ribbon-cutting ceremony performed by Mr. Hukum Singh Rai, Chairperson of Kamal Rural Municipality. The program was attended by Dr. Purushottam Joshi, Medical Director of Mechi Eye Hospital, Mr. Jal Kumar Gurung, Chairperson of Mechi Eye Hospital (Sangh), and other distinguished guests. The partners expressed their shared commitment to delivering excellent eye care services at the community level and strengthening access to healthcare for all.
