The 3-day free surgical eye camp held from 5–7 Mangsir 2082 (21–23 November 2025) at Himalayan Public School, Inaruwa–09, Sunsari has been successfully completed.The camp was organized by Al Ehsan Charitable Foundation, Inaruwa–10, Sunsari, with technical support from Mechi Eye Hospital, Birtamode.
This collaborative effort aimed to provide accessible and quality eye care to the community, and the response was truly remarkable. Over the course of three days, a total of 1,043 individuals received comprehensive eye examinations, including 328 school students. Likewise, 148 eye surgeries were successfully completed, which included 5 BE, 134 SICS, 12 pterygium, 1 DCT, and 1 entropion case. These numbers reflect the community’s trust and the team’s dedication to preventing avoidable blindness. A big thank you goes to our entire medical team for their tireless effort, compassion, and commitment. Their hard work made it possible for hundreds of people to receive the care they needed. Together, we continue our mission of delivering quality and affordable eye care to all.
