Restoring Sight, Strengthening Trust: A Three-Day Free Eye Camp in Phidim

Mechi Eye Hospital, with the technical support of our dedicated medical team and in collaboration with Phidim Municipality, successfully conducted a three-day free eye camp aimed at bringing quality eye care closer to the community.

During the camp, a total of 1,898 patients received comprehensive eye examinations. Among them, 109 patients underwent successful cataract and minor eye surgeries, helping restore vision and improve daily life for many individuals who had been living with avoidable visual impairment.

Beyond the numbers, this camp was about people—elderly patients regaining independence, families finding relief, and communities renewing their trust in accessible healthcare. Such outcomes are only possible through strong cooperation and shared commitment.

Mechi Eye Hospital sincerely extends its heartfelt gratitude to the Honorable Mayor of Phidim Municipality, local representatives, volunteers, and all individuals who supported the program directly and indirectly. Your encouragement, respect, and trust inspire us to continue serving with compassion and dedication.

Together, we move one step closer to a world where clear vision is a right, not a privilege.
