Mechi Eye Hospital is pleased to announce the successful completion of a Free Eye Surgical Camp held from December 13, 2024, to December 15, 2024, at Phidim District Hospital in Panchthar, a beautiful hilly district located in Eastern Nepal.
The camp was organized by Help Together Foundation, Phidim, Panchthar, with technical support from Mechi Eye Hospital and financial support from Phidim Municipality, Panchthar.
During this three-day camp, a total of 1,509 patients received comprehensive eye examinations. Out of these, 120 patients underwent successful eye surgeries, restoring and improving their vision. The camp brought critical eye care services to people who otherwise face challenges accessing specialized eye treatment in remote, hilly regions.
Mechi Eye Hospital extends heartfelt gratitude to Phidim Municipality for their generous financial support and to Help Together Foundation for their tireless efforts in organizing this impactful event. We are also thankful to the medical team, volunteers, and local stakeholders whose contributions made this camp a resounding success.
At Mechi Eye Hospital, we remain committed to extending our compassionate care and expertise to the underserved communities of Eastern Nepal. Such initiatives ensure that quality eye care reaches those who need it the most, even in geographically challenging regions.
